How the protocol works
  • Every practice gets the same question, filled in with its own service and city. Your practice name is never put in the question.
  • Each model answers in a new conversation, so nothing earlier can influence it.
  • All four models get the same instruction: a numbered list of up to five practices, with a brief reason and a web source for each.
  • The protocol version, the models used and the date are recorded with your report.
  • We check for your full practice name in the answer and your website domain in its sources. Alternate names may not match; the full answer lets you review the result. Unavailable answers and unclear list positions stay unknown.
What this check does not do
  • It does not produce a visibility score.
  • It does not diagnose causes or generate a list of fixes.
  • It does not monitor your practice over time.
  • It does not predict how many patients AI answers will send you.

What exactly is checked?

Whether your practice name appears in each answer, whether your website is linked as a source, and where in that answer's list you appear.

Why might I see something different in ChatGPT?

AI answers change with wording, location, date and each app's own settings. We use the model APIs with fixed wording so every practice is checked the same way. Your own search in an app can come out differently.

What does "no result" mean?

The model returned no usable answer. We record that observation as unknown and exclude it from the counts. Unclear list positions also stay unknown. Alternate practice names may not match; you can review the full text.

Will this get my practice recommended?

No. It shows where you stand on one date. It doesn't change what any model says, and nobody can guarantee a model will recommend a practice.

Why do you need my contact details?

Each check is run for one real practice, so we confirm who is asking before it starts. We use your details to give you your snapshot and to follow up about it. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Is this the same as GEO, AEO or AI SEO for dentists?

Those are names for one idea: being found in AI answers. Generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization and AI search optimization all describe the work. This check only measures where your practice appears today.
